Copacabana
Unfortunately Copacabana got old, the glamour of past times is no longer there but it continues marvelous. The gorgeous beach with the view of the Sugar Loaf makes a stunning sunset.
In its sinuously designed sidewalk people jog and practice sports all day long. The favorite ones are soccer, volleyball, futvoley (a volleyball game played with the feet in the beach court made in Rio) and frescobol(another carioca sport without winners or losers, 2 cooperative players with wood rackets keeping the ball in the air as long as possible).
In the afternoon nothing better than coconut water or an almost frozen beer (yeah, here cold is not enough) in one of the kiosks along the beach to finish a stressful day of work completes the perfect set.
Today with more or less 200 hotels, Copacabana attracts tourist all year, people from all over the globe come with the desire to be in it, but sadly they’re not the only ones attracted.
